I use white and various shades of low-cal greyness (Prismacolor 10 and thirty% absurd or warm grayness) and lavander. For human hair, that is. For isolated hair like whiskers, i brand a dent tn the paper with a stylus and color over with groundwork color.

Also, keep in mind that you lot don't actually draw the white fur, (at least not on white paper). Y'all create the illusion that in that location is white fur by drawing the shadows. Here'southward an example in my cartoon.

I utilize a lot of different colors to create white. I used to hate doing white animals simply now I don't mind it. I use lots of greys (french, warm, cool) depending on whether yous want a warm or cool tone, also I have used lavander greyness and maybe fifty-fifty some cream depending on the lighting. Look close at the reference photo to better judge the colors that you lot run across. A color picker as well helps. Hither is a portrait I did of white wolves.

I think the important thing to keep in mind is that any white in an image is never 100% white. If y'all expect closely you lot'll discover varying shades of greys/blues depending on the picture.
